Stephanie O. Burgess, Esq.

Stephanie O. Burgess is the owner and managing attorney of Burgess Law Group, LLC, located in historic downtown Savannah, Georgia. With more than 20 years of legal experience, she is known for providing dedicated, aggressive, and results-driven legal representation. Before founding her firm, she served as a law clerk for the City of Atlanta Municipal Court, worked as a staff attorney for Fulton County Superior Court, and spent nearly a decade as a P.O.S.T.-certified law enforcement officer. She earned her education from Clark Atlanta University, Savannah State University, and Texas Southern University Thurgood Marshall School of Law.

Throughout her career, Stephanie has received numerous accolades, including National Black Lawyers Top 100, National Trial Lawyers Top 100 for Criminal Defense, and recognition as Savannah Morning News' Best Family Law Attorney. She has also been featured in Ebony Magazine, South Magazine, and appeared as legal counsel on the television series 90 Day Fiancé. Outside of her legal practice, she enjoys traveling, writing poetry, and spending time with her family.
