R. Scot Kraeuter

R. Scot Kraeuter is a founding partner at Johnson Kraeuter & Sanders LLC, representing clients throughout Savannah and Coastal Georgia. Practicing law since 1995, he focuses primarily on family law and personal injury matters. His extensive background also includes civil trials, serious injury and wrongful death claims, vehicle accidents, product liability, professional malpractice, and complex civil litigation.

Scot has significant jury trial experience and has held several leadership positions within the State Bar of Georgia’s Family Law Section, including Chair and Vice-Chair of its Executive Committee. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates. 

Born in Winchester, Massachusetts, Scot earned his Bachelor of Arts from Vanderbilt University in 1992 and his Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law in 1995. He is admitted to practice before Georgia state and federal courts, as well as the United States Courts of Appeals for the Sixth and Eleventh Circuits.
